The last gutter cleaning you'll ever book
Stop the twice-a-year cleanout. Premium gutter guards installed by Murray Pro Solutions — a local owner-operator serving Barrie and all of Simcoe County.
- Full cleanout included on every install
- 25-year no-clog warranty
- Free no-obligation quotes
Your gutters lose the fight every fall
Leaves, pine needles, shingle grit and debris clog an open eavestrough fast — then water overflows instead of draining.
That overflow is what damages homes: foundation wetness, roof edge damage, landscape washout, and ice payback in winter. Cleaning fixes it twice a year, for a day. A gutter guard keeps the debris out so water flows through.
- Guards block leaves and needles while water flows through
- Less overflow means less stress on roof edges and foundation
- Fewer cleanouts — and no more dangerous ladder work
What's included in every install
We're excited to offer premium gutter guards — and we prep your gutters like they're ours before a single guard goes on.
- Full eavestrough cleanout — all debris removed before we install
- Re-sealed corners & joints — leaks fixed at the source
- Reinforcements where needed — sagging sections braced back up
- Premium gutter guards — installed right, no shortcuts
- Free, no-obligation quote — you'll know the price before any work starts
An honest note about "never clean your gutters again"
You'll hear that promise everywhere guards are sold. Here's the truth from someone who installs them: nothing is truly zero-maintenance. What premium gutter guards do is keep leaves, needles and shingle grit out so your gutters flow — cutting cleanings down to roughly a light check-up once a year instead of two full cleanouts.
We'd rather tell you that straight than sell you "never again." That's how we do business here.

Insider quote
"I used to install these for the big American company. Now I install better ones for half the price — myself."
— Murray · owner, Murray Pro Solutions
Years installing leaf-guard systems for a national brand taught me exactly where the corners get cut: rushed cleanouts, skipped reseals, sag left in the trough. When I install your guards, it's me on the ladder — with a full cleanout and proper prep first. Work you'd be proud to show your neighbours.

Common questions
Big, honest answers — tap any question.
Will I ever have to clean my gutters again?
Honestly? Maybe a light check-up once a year — nothing is truly zero-maintenance. But premium guards keep leaves, needles and shingle grit out so your gutters flow, replacing two heavy cleanouts a year with a quick look-over.
What's the 25-year no-clog warranty?
Our premium gutter guards carry a 25-year no-clog warranty. Warranty terms follow the manufacturer's current warranty — confirm the details on your quote.
Is the cleanout really included?
Yes — every install includes a full eavestrough cleanout, re-sealing of corners, and reinforcements where needed. We'd rather skip a fast job than a proper one.
How quickly can you come out?
We can usually reach you as early as the same or next day. Fall is our busiest season, so autumn guard installs are best booked early.
How do I pay?
Cash or e-transfer. You'll always know the price before any work starts.
Who actually does the work?
Murray himself — a local owner-operator in Barrie. The person who quotes your job is the person on the ladder.

Ice Dam Removal
Safe roof ice removal — ending leaks and falling-icicle hazards.
How we remove ice dams
From a ladder, we are usually able to take off 3–6 feet of ice on the shingles. If it's just snow, then the whole roof can be cleared. No hammers on your shingles, no risky roof walking — controlled removal that protects the roof while the ice comes off.
A real job: before & after
Before: 3 feet of ice up on the shingles, and in and above the eavestrough. There was a bad leak going into the above apartment room — plus the fear of icicles falling in front of the front door.
After: all ice removed from shingles and eavestrough — ending the water leak and any hazard.
How much ice can you remove?
Working from a ladder, we usually take 3–6 feet of ice off the shingles. If it's just snow, the whole roof can be cleared.
Can ice dam removal stop an active leak?
Removing the dam lets trapped water drain instead of backing up under the shingles. On one job, clearing 3 feet of ice ended an active leak into an apartment and removed the icicle hazard at the door.

Ice Guards Installation
Stop dangerous snow and ice slide-offs from metal roofs.
Take it from us

When installed strategically along roof edges, walkways, entrances, and high-traffic areas, these ice guards help control snow movement and minimize the risk of property damage, injuries, and issues with gutters and landscaping during winter months.
Our professionally installed ice guard systems are not only durable and low-profile but also customized to complement your roof style, ensuring reliable snow and ice prevention even during the harshest Canadian winters.

Heating Cables
Preventing ice buildup — before it pushes water into your home.
Preventing ice buildup
At Murray Pro Solutions, our mission is to provide exceptional home care solutions that focus on leak prevention and ice buildup prevention for our clients in a safe and efficient manner. We believe that effective heating cable installation will stop ice from pushing water up into your shingles and into your home by melting key areas, allowing the water to flow clearly to your eavestrough.
How we lay it out
For effective ice buildup prevention, we recommend a heating cable installation that involves running two lines in the trough, two lines down the downspout, and then zigzagging across the shingles. Different length cables are available as part of our home care solutions.
- Two cable lines in the eavestrough
- Two lines down each downspout
- Zigzag layout across the shingles where ice forms
- Multiple cable lengths available for your roof
- Free, no-obligation quote up front
How do heating cables prevent ice damage?
They melt key areas so ice can't push water up under your shingles and into your home — water keeps flowing clearly to the eavestrough.
Where do the cables go?
Two lines in the trough, two lines down the downspout, and a zigzag across the shingles. Different cable lengths are available.

Pink insulation up top means lower bills and a cozier home
We install blown-in Owens Corning AttiCat® PINK® fiberglass attic insulation for homes in Barrie and surrounding areas. A proper layer of blown-in insulation lays an even blanket across the attic — including the irregular spaces around framing — so upstairs rooms stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
The install work is done by Peter — Murray’s brother. Call or text 705-500-8919 and Murray will book you in.
One service. Done with purpose.
Blown-in fiberglass can add an even layer across an attic, including the irregular spaces around framing. The right plan still depends on what is already there, ventilation, access, and the condition of the attic.
- Attic focused — a clear, single-service starting point
- Known material — Owens Corning AttiCat® PINK®
- Local coverage — Barrie and surrounding areas
- Straight answers — assessment before recommendations
Family crew
Two brothers. One warmer house.
Insulation with Murray Pro Solutions is a family job. Murray answers your call and books the work; his brother Peter — a roofer who knows attics from the top down — runs the install. Local brothers, one phone number, no runaround.
Does your attic need attention?
- Upstairs rooms feel colder in winter or hotter in summer
- Your heating or cooling seems to work harder than it should
- The insulation up there looks low, uneven, or disturbed
- You’re renovating and want the attic assessed before the ceiling goes back up
Owens Corning AttiCat® PINK®
Our featured blown-in fiberglass, made for loose-fill attic applications. It flows around framing, wiring, and obstructions for an even blanket — and it’s a smart choice for top-ups when your existing material and attic conditions allow.
We assess the attic first, so the plan reflects your home — never a one-size-fits-all number.
How it works
- Start with the call — tell us what you’re noticing upstairs, where the home is, and what you know about the attic
- Assess the attic — access, existing insulation, ventilation, and visible conditions are reviewed before any recommendation
- Review the scope — you get a clear plan for the blown-in upgrade and the work involved
- Install & walk through — the material is installed to the agreed scope, followed by a review of the completed work
Can blown-in insulation go over what’s already there?
Sometimes. A top-up can make sense when the existing material and attic conditions are suitable. Wet, contaminated, damaged, or otherwise problematic material may need a different plan — that’s why the attic is assessed first.
How much insulation does my attic need?
It depends on the home, the existing material depth and condition, ventilation, and the applicable requirements. We don’t promise a number from the street or a single photo.
Who does the insulation work?
Peter — Murray’s brother — does the installs. Murray answers the phone and books the jobs.
What areas do you serve?
Barrie, Innisfil, Orillia, Midland, Wasaga Beach, Springwater, Oro-Medonte, and surrounding Simcoe County communities. Call with your postal code and we’ll confirm.
